Small Animals

If you are looking for a good first time pet come check out our bunnies, guinea pigs, rats, mice, and hamsters. We also carry other small animals such as gerbils, ferrets, and chinchillas that make great pets for the more experience hobbyist. Most of our small animals are purchased from local breeders. We enjoy supporting our customer and their hobbies. We offer a 1 year exchange on our guinea pigs, gerbils, hamster, rats, and mice.  If they ever get to the point where they can no longer be handled we will exchange your pet for a new one.  TWPC carries all the supplies to ensure a happy and healthy small animal.

I am sorry Chelsea, but we do not carry hedgehogs. There are laws requiring special permits to sell them making it difficult for us to carry them at an affordable price.

We don’t carry ferrets on a consistant basis but we do always have a variety of hamsters. They are usually pretty tame, all our hamster come with a 1 year no bite guarantee, so that if the animal does start to bite, you can exchange it for a new one for a whole year from the purchase date!

Hi, I was wondering if you had any “Super Pet CritterTrail” cages in pink? If so, how much are they? I was also wondering if you have any cages in the $20-$30 price range fit for a couple of dwarf hamsters. Also, I was wondering if you carried “Carefresh Ultra White Pet Bedding.” Is this bedding better for hamsters than ordinary wood shavings? Thanks much!

    Hi Danielle,
We do not have any Uper Pet CritterTrail cages in pink, but we do have one Habitrail Ovo Home Pink Edition that is $32.59. We do carry Carefresh Ultra White bedding. This bedding does a great job at controlling urine odor which means it last twice as long as shavings, saving you time and money. It also doesn’t contain aromatic oils that exist in pine and cedar shaving, which as been linked to respiratory problems in small animals.

    Hi,

I was wandering what kind of selection of guinea pigs you have. I am looking for a long haired(fuzzy) white, black and brown guinea pig but I am open to any. What are the price ranges?

  9. By tropi26, November 23, 2011 @ 10:06 am

Right now we have two teddy bears and one abby, the abby is $26.99, one teddy bear is half off the other is full price at $29.99.We can always fill out a special order request, it doesn’t guarantee we will get one exactly like what you want, we will just notify you the next time we get a similar guinea pig in. Just let us know your contact information if you are interested!

    Hi Allison,
You certainly can exchange her for a guinea pig, we give a 1 yr no bite guarantee on most of our small animals, so bring your reciept in and you can apply the credit for the hamster to the price of a guinea pig.

i was wandering if you sold the big guinea pig balls that they can run around in and how much they are

  12. By tropi26, December 4, 2011 @ 4:16 pm

Hi Danielle, we do have giant exercise balls that guinea pigs would fit in they start at $33.99 and go up to $44.99. I would like to mention that most guinea pigs do not use these balls very much. You might be better off purchasing an small animal playpen which is a like small wire fence for them to run around in.
