Hi Joel, sounds to me like you have a 20 or 25 gallon tank. What is the height of the tank? If it is 16 3/4 it’s a 20 gallon, if it’s 20 3/4 its a 25 gallon. Regardless of the size they use the same size hood/light, which we sell for $44.29.
I would recommend community fish, many stay small and like schools. Platys, swordtails, guppies, mollies, smaller tetras, there is quite a variety to chose from!
Hi Kristi, the only snails we sell are the mystery snails. Because of Wisconsin state laws we are limited to what snails we are allowed to sell. We do not have tape grass either, but we do carry jungle val, which is a long grass like plant.

Do you have hoods for 35 gallon fish tanks? Mine is older and it has divider in the middle of the tank. I would like to get a newer hood with better light.

Hi Amanda, is you 35 gallon tank a hexagon tank? (The only 35 gallon tank made was hexagon in shape). This hood we would have to special order since we don’t carry the tanks in stock anymore. If your tank is not a hexagon, you might have either a 37 (which is 30inches long) or a 38 (which is 36 inches long). We do have hood for either of these tanks in stock.
