From scaly to spikey, Tropic Waters Pet Center carries the largest selection of reptiles in West Central Wisconsin. Commonly stocked reptiles include geckos, tarantulas, variety of snakes, turtles, tortoises, chameleons, hermit crabs, bearded dragons, and a variety of amphibians. We carry all the supplies and can provide  all the information to keep your reptile friend healthy and happy. The care and husbandry for each reptile is unique. Reptiles depend greatly on their environment for proper health. Most reptiles have very specific temperature, lighting, humidity, and enclosure requirements. Our staff is educated on the proper needs for each reptile. We have reptiles for all ages and experience levels.

What type of food do you offer?

​We carry commercial diets for many species of reptiles as well as live feeders including crickets, dubia roaches, mealworms, superworms, waxworms, and horn worms. If you need a bullk order or are looking for something special let us know what we can help you with.

Are reptiles good for kids?

​

Most reptiles are great pets for 12 and older, anyone younger the parents must be as interested as the child. Supervision is always recommended at any age to make sure good animal husbandry practices are always used to protect the child and pet.
